Pittsburgh's Strip District is texture heaven. Throughout the week, The Strip is a vibrant market district full of international food vendors, dining carts, and merchants. These images were taken along the river by the loading bays.

- I am a visual artist primarily working in 2D mixed media. Often a reflection on the postindustrial landscape, my portfolio could be described as an exploration of urban spaces, populations, and visual textures. Buildings are pressed on all sides by errant speech balloons and quotation marks while heaps of rubble mix with jumbled type in a struggle to accumulate new meaning. Whimsical environments that are somehow familiar and yet a little absurd, these fractured urban landscapes recall slivers of recognition in an unraveling visual narrative.
